Nearby Share sends files straight from one device to another. Open Snatch on both, and devices on the same Wi-Fi appear by themselves. On different networks, join with a six-digit code or scan a QR code.
The files travel directly between the two browsers, encrypted, and are never stored on a server. The receiver always sees who is sending and what, and must tap Accept first. You can send several files at once, text and links, and big files are checked for integrity when they arrive.
No. Files go directly between the two devices. The server only helps them find each other. If a direct connection is impossible, an encrypted relay carries the data without being able to read it.
